The following regulations apply to the students assigned to MR clinical.
- Students will be assigned to the clinical site for a maximum of 40 hours per week during each clinical internship. During the first eight weeks of the spring semester, MR students will be assigned to MR clinical settings for 16 hours each Thursday & Friday. During the second 8 weeks of the spring semester, MR students are expected to participate in clinical Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Note: Students are not allowed to participate in clinical more than 40 hours per week. Any student choosing to participate for more than 40 hours must do so voluntarily only.
- Students are not to be assigned to assist with the department’s "on-call" services.
- The University faculty member who is assigned to the facility is the contact person should questions or concerns arise.
- Students may be placed in a clinical education setting that may require travel of an hour or more from the University. Arrangements to and from clinical are the student's responsibility, as are the costs associated with the travel.
