What Makes Morehead State's Program Different

You can complete an AGR Concentration or CTE School Principal Concentration offered through the Department of Agricultural Sciences or an Industrial Education Concentration or CTE School Principal Concentration through the Department of Engineering and Technology. You can pursue a career in technical education or administration through online program options that can be completed in two years for maximum convenience and flexibility.

Admission to the Career and Technical Education Programs

You must be accepted for graduate study at MSU to enroll in the program.

In addition, you must either:

  • Earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher after completing 12 hours of MSCTE-required coursework.
  • (For School Principal concentration only) Must hold a valid 5- or 10-year teaching certificate for any one of the areas of career and technical education authorized in the Kentucky State Plan for Career and Technical Education.
