KENTUCKY SCHOLARSHIPS

Morehead State awards more than $15M in University and MSU Foundation scholarships and grants annually. MSU offers a variety of scholarships based on several criteria, including academic excellence, area of study, type of student, where you live, and your needs.

This information applies to new students for the 2025-26 school year.

* Housing stipend cost of the honors hall, $500 textbook stipend, a designated meal plan, and $1,500 one-time education abroad allowance.
^ Separate application process required.

Notes: Scholarships require on-campus housing for a minimum of 4 semesters. There is a 40% reduction in scholarships if the housing requirement is not met. An unweighted high school GPA is utilized for all scholarships. Students must be enrolled full-time at MSU to receive scholarships.
