Transfer Scholarships

Morehead State awards more than $14 million in University and MSU Foundation scholarships and grants each year. MSU offers a variety of scholarships based on several criteria, including academic excellence, area of study, what type of student you are, where you live, and your need.

  • Awards are based on academic criteria. Final college transcripts and GPA affect awards. Only the Alumni Award and the Phi Kappa Transfer Scholarship may be combined with these scholarships.
  • Total financial aid cannot exceed the cost of attendance. Subsequent changes do not apply to the terms and conditions of an award.
  • College credit hours completed before high school graduation, including Eagle Scholars courses, do not affect scholarship eligibility.

Application Process

Submit your admissions application and related documents (application, transcripts, and test scores) by the priority application deadline of June 15 (some scholarships may have other deadlines).
